Owner Operator Opportunities & Requirements:
As a contractor/owner/operator of Ontime Xpress Inc., it is your duty and responsibility to protect the interests of the company and the general public by carrying out your work in an efficient and safe manner.
A contractor/owner/operator is an individual that starts his or her own business by being contracted through Ontime Xpress Inc.
The pre-requisites are:
- Own your own vehicle
- Provide commercial insurance on the vehicle
Vehicles over 11,794 kg.
-Certificate of insurances with notification to Ontime Xpress
-$2,000,000 Cargo Insurance
-Safety fitness certificate and current CVIP
Vehicles over 4500 kg.
-$2,000,000 Cargo Insurance
Vehicles under 4500 kg.
-$50,000 Cargo
- Commercial plates
- have a WCB account
- PPE - Safety glasses, Steel toe boots, hard hat, safety vest
All subcontractors are required to possess certificates such as TDG, WHIMS & Cargo Securement.
